Greetings from the Chunnel

Hey Reader -

As I write this, I’m barreling across the French countryside at 300 km per hour (185 mph) per hour, on my way to London.

Iñigo is giving another talk—his third in less than a month! And of course I’m tagging along.

The day before yesterday, we returned from Prague, and the week before that, we were in Granada. When we get back from London, we have two whole days before my parents arrive, and we all head to Morocco on an absolute bucket-list adventure through the country.

Phew!

Cue the cliché: It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

In Granada, I stopped into a couple of the hotels I hadn’t visited yet (I have thoughts), revisited the Alhambra (still there, still wonderful), and tried some new tapas bars (and rooftop bars) with friends.

I hadn’t been to Prague since college, and I loved rediscovering the city. I’ve always marveled at how unique it feels—really like nowhere else, which by now you know is a quality I love in a destination.

We filled up on pilsners and roast duck, enjoyed sunshine and sunsets along the river, admired the wedding-cake architecture, hiked through hillside parks, and did our best to avoid all the stag and hen groups (tip: the city quiets down substantially after everyone goes home on Sunday!). Of course, we saw all the main sites too.

London is a quick trip, but I’m looking forward to exploring some of the city's eastern neighborhoods, which I haven’t done in years. And we’ll be visiting the Bowie Centre at the V&A Storehouse as well as checking out the brand-new V&A East.

And then Morocco—what can I say? It’s a dream trip … that I’ll tell you more about in my next email ;)

Ciao for now!
