A trip decades in the making

The laundry is done, I’ve given myself a fresh pedi, my parents arrive tonight, and we’re ready to leave for Morocco tomorrow!

For me, this trip has been decades in the making. I’ve been to Tangier a few times, and I’ve sent plenty of clients, but I’ve never had a proper Morocco trip myself. In some ways, I can’t believe I haven’t been yet, but in others, I’m so glad I’ve waited until I could do it right.

And believe me, Reader, we’re doing it right.

I've booked us at bucket-list hotels like Dar Ahlam, Kasbah Tamadot, and the iconic La Mamounia.

We’ll be exploring Fez’s souks, the dunes of the Sahara Desert, and Marrakesh’s incredible art and design scene.

And along the way, I’ll be taking copious notes on hotels, logistics (those long drives!), experiences, and what’s worth it and what isn’t, so I can plan even better trips for my clients.

I’ll be documenting everything as I go and reporting back with the full debrief when I’m home. In the meantime, make sure you’re following me on Instagram, where—wifi allowing—I’ll be sharing all the sights and sounds of our adventure.

Ciao for now!

P.S. I’m already dreaming about taking a small group of curious travelers back to Marrakesh with me. If this sounds interesting to you, let me know here!
